Tutorial for Making Flaming/ Burning Text in photoshop...


Making Flaming OR Burning Text


Burning text effect is mostly used in Advertising and Banner Designing.. When you have to Use the burning images in project, you may put the title of the project using this text effect..
Also there are many text effects used in banner designing at different positions.. some of the effects are Glossy Metal Text, Shiny Text and more..

Step 1: 

 Create new file and fill background with black color (Shft+f5 ---> color ---> Select Black color---> OK).

select Horizontal Type Text tool and write your text with white color.

Step 2:

 Right click on this text layer and select Rasterize this Layer.
Now Rotate your Image To clock wise 90 degree.

Go to filter ---> Stylize ---> Wind
Set "Method = Wind" and "Direction = From Left".

Hit Ok..
Repeat this process 3 times for better wind effect.

Step 3:

 Now Go to Filter ---> Distort ---> Ripple
Set Amount between 100 to 110.
Ripple the text


Hit OK.

Step 4:

 Make new Layer (Ctrl+Shft+N)
Select Brush Tool and Select Orange color to fill .
fill the area of text with orange color by brush..

and set the mode of this layer to "Color Burn".

Step 1: 
Create new file and fill the background with Black color.

Step 2:

Make a new layer (Ctrl+Shft+N) Name it "layer 1".
Select Horizontal type Mask Tool from tool box by right clicking on text tool.
Type HORROR or your text.

Now Press Shft+f5 to fill the color in selected text.And add red color.

Select eraser tool and erase the left side area.

Step 3:
Go to Select --->  Feather ---> set radius to "1" ---> OK.

Now Go to filter ---> Blur ---> Radial Blur.
Select Blur method to "Zoom", Quality to "Best", and set amount to '100'.

Hit OK. 

NOTE : For better effect you can apply radial blur 2 times.

Step 4:
Now right click on the Layer and click on "Select Inverse".

Doing this the remaining area will get selected.

Step 5:


 Now Go to filter ---> Blur ---> Radial Blur.
Select Blur method to "Zoom", Quality to "Best", and set amount to '100'. and hit OK

Step 1:
Create New File.
Paint Give the Gradient to background using gradient fill tool (blue combination).

Select Horizontal Type text Tool and Type the Text with white color.

Now go to Blending options ---> Outer Glow and select Blue color for outer glow.

Step 4:
Now make a new layer (Ctrl+Shft+N).
select a shape tool from tool box,select polygon. Check smooth corners, star and indent to 99% or 100%.

Custome shape

Select white color and Drag mouse on the image/layer, it will make a star.
press Ctrl+T and transform these stars at the corners of the text.

Step 1:
Create New File.
Fill Background with lack color (Shft+f5 ---> color ---> Black ---> OK)

Step 2: 

Add Your Text.

 Make duplicate layer of Text by hitting Ctrl+J.
Hide the original text layer.

Step 3:

Raster the upper duplicated layer by right click on the layer.
And go to Blending Options (Fx) below the layer box. 
make 3 changes.

1) Gradient Overlay
Select gradient Overlay and add Gray-White Linear Gradient.

2) Inner Glow:
Select Inner Glow , Set blend mode te Vivid Light and color to white.

3) Bevel And Emboss
Select Bevel and Emboss , set depth to 100, size to 62px, soften to 30px.

You will get the final Text Effect.

Step 1: 
Create New File.
Paint The background with Black color.





Step 2:

Add your text on it at center withe white color.








Now Make the duplicate layer of the text by righting on the layer, and hide that layer.



Step 3:

Now go to the layer properties ---> Gradient Overlay ---> Select rainbow colors (R,Y,G,SB,V,P,R). 

set Angle to 0 or 180.

And set scale to 70 .



Step 4:

Now go to Filter ---> Gaussian blur 

Set the radius to "3.7 to 4.2"



Step 5:
Now make the hidden text layer visible.

 Now go to layer properties ---> Outer Glow ---> set the Blend Mode to "Color Dodge".
Set Opacity to 50%.
Set size to 20px.

Step 1 :-

Create new file..
Paint background with Black color (Shft+f5 or Fill Color)

Step 3 :-

Select a Horizontal Type text tool from tool box and type the word for giving effect..
bold the font you use for better effect.
I use the text "PARESH" for same..

Now rasterize this layer by right clicking on the text layer.
and make this layer  invisible by clicking on eye .


Step 4 :-
Select a Horizontal Type text tool from tool box and type words/characters for background..
copy paste it again and again so that it will cover full size of image.
use font 12-15 px max.. set color of font to "#1b1b1b".

Step 6 :-

Now make the layer "paresh" visible.. and select the ants/borders of the layers..

Again make this layer invisible.. Now you will get the selected area of the text..



Step 7 :-

Select the Text background layer and capy selected atea and paste it..
adjust the new layer to the backgrounds text or match it with background.
go to layer properties and change color Overlay to white..
